Registration or Withdrawal of Students Information

New student registrations and student withdrawals are by appointment only.

New Student Registration

  • Only a parent or legal guardian may register a student
  • Registrations are by appointment only. Please call 443-550-8816 to schedule an appointment
  • Students must be withdrawn from their former school before he/she can be registered at Huntingtown High School
  • The student should be present at the registration appointment
  • Parent/guardian must provide photo id
  • Parents are encouraged to provide custody documents
  • A physical is required for students entering Maryland public school for the first time

You must bring the following information to your registration appointment:

  1. Proof of Residency – must be a notarized (plus 2 supporting documents) or incorporated lease, deed, mortgage coupon booklet or monthly mortgage statement and must include parent’s name and street address.
  2. Student’s official birth certificate
  3. Student’s Social Security number
  4. Immunization records
  5. Complete transcript from prior school and most recent report card
  6. SR7 – Maryland Student Transfer Record is required for student entering from any Maryland public school (ONLY Pupil Personnel Workers may, after an investigation, accept other forms to valid proof of residency.)

Withdraw a Student

  • Parent must contact Guidance, in advance, at 443-550-8816 to arrange a withdrawal/transfer of student
  • 24 hour notice is required for Withdrawal Packets to be prepared
  • Withdrawal Form must be signed by parent or legal guardian
  • Withdrawal Packets will be provided for transfer to another school
  • Please ensure that all student books and materials have been properly returned
